a(n)의 어순
관사는 흔히 명사 또는 명사를 꾸미는 어군(語群) 앞에 오는 것이 정칙이나 다음 몇 가지 점에 주의할 것:
(1) how, however, so, as, too+형용사+a+명사의 순(順): How beautiful a day! / However beautiful a day it may be, ┅ / so good a student / as diligent a man as he 그 사람같이 부지런한 사람 / too difficult a problem 지나치게 어려운 문제.
(2) quite, rather, half, such, what은 흔히 a의 앞에 나옴: quite an old man / rather a hard task / half an hour (미국에서는 종종 a half hour).
(3) no less는 a보다 앞섬: no less a person than himself 다른 사람 아닌 바로 그 사람 자신.
